Bahrain Gears Up for Historic Debut at Gulf Youth Games Under Esteemed Leadership

The Bahrain Olympic Committee is proud to announce its formidable delegation for the inaugural Gulf Youth Games, set to be hosted by the United Arab Emirates from April 16 to May 2, 2024. The team will be under the experienced leadership of Mr. Ali Abdulaziz Janahi, a respected member of the Committee's Board of Directors.

Ms. Fajer Jassim , another esteemed Board Member and the Director of the Department of International and Arab Relations, will serve as the Director of the Mission. The delegation's backbone will be supported by an accomplished administrative team including Chouf Al-Maloud, Hassan Jumaa, Ali Harouna, and Youssef Hussein, with media responsibilities handled by Hassan Ali Ahmed, Ali Al-Halwachi, Hisham Jaafar, Ahmed Al-Hadar, and Jaber Yahya.

Mr. Ali Abdulaziz Janahi expressed heartfelt thanks to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the trust placed in him to lead Bahrain's delegation. He highlighted the significance of the Gulf Youth Games as a pivotal platform for nurturing young talent, emphasizing Bahrain's dedication to achieving a notable presence.

Mrs. Fajer Jassim conveyed her deep appreciation for the confidence bestowed upon her by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Her role, she notes, is emboldened by the vigilant support and interest of the Secretary-General, His Excellency Mr. Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, ensuring that the delegation’s preparation is both thorough and effective. Mrs. Jassim  emphasized the collaborative effort involving the Department of International and Arab Relations, which has been diligently working with the UAE Olympic Committee and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council to finalize all necessary preparations and arrangements.
