His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Head of the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the Paris 2024 Olympics, attended the meeting of the heads of the Olympic Committees of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This significant meeting took place at the prestigious headquarters of the Qatari mission, a fitting location on the sidelines of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
During the meeting, several crucial topics were discussed, with a primary focus on the development of the Gulf sports system and enhancing cooperation among GCC countries in various sports fields. The attendees exchanged views and ideas on supporting Gulf athletes and creating an environment conducive to achieving greater success in international forums.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, to the esteemed attendees.
His Highness praised the collective efforts of the GCC countries in promoting sports cooperation, emphasising the importance of continued joint work to achieve the goals of Gulf sports and elevate their status to higher levels.
