6 Teams Represent Bahrain in Beach Volleyball for the Tournament

The Bahraini school beach volleyball team is set to showcase its best performance in the International School Games "Bahrain 2024," held under the high patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, from October 24 to 31.

 

The technical staff, led by coach Mohammed Hussein Al-Shaikh, has been focused on raising the players' technical and physical abilities, with the team continuing its intensive daily training on the Riffa beach volleyball courts. All players are showing high levels of commitment and seriousness in preparation for this international participation.

 

The team comprises 12 male players, distributed across six teams: Abbas Ihsan, Ali Talaq, Ali Yaqoub, Ali Sultan, Jassim Madan, Mohammed Al-Sindi, Mohammed Abdul Ali, Jaafar Darwish, Ali Imran, Ali Thamer, Mohammed Harounah, and Mohammed Al-Haiki. Additionally, two female players, Hala Al-Rawajih and Rafaela Miguez, will represent Bahrain in the women's category.

 

The beach volleyball competitions within the "Bahrain 2024" tournament will take place from October 25 to 29 on the outdoor courts of Isa Sports City in Riffa, adjacent to Bahrain National Stadium. These matches are expected to provide a platform for interaction with distinguished international teams from various continents, bringing an added sense of challenge and excitement to the tournament.

 

This comprehensive preparation aligns with the Kingdom's wider efforts to host this prestigious global sporting event. Sports facilities and amenities have been meticulously prepared to receive teams and athletes, ensuring the "Bahrain 2024" International School Games becomes a key moment in Bahrain's journey to establishing itself as a leading global sports host.
