Yesterday, the Technical Committee for the International School Games, scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 23 to 31 October under the high royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, convened to review final preparations.
The meeting, chaired by Lounes Madene, took place at the headquarters of the Executive Committee in Seef District and was attended by all committee members. The focus was reviewing the logistical and administrative arrangements required to ensure smooth operation and competition management during the tournament.
Madeline emphasised the importance of intensifying efforts in the coming period to ensure everything is in place before the tournament's launch. The committee also reviewed the readiness of competition venues, including stadiums and other sports facilities, focusing on ensuring that all necessary equipment is available. Competition schedules were reviewed, and the committee confirmed that all sports requirements and supplies were ready.
Discussions also covered coordination with various involved parties to ensure the highest standards of safety and organisation during the tournament. The Technical Committee reaffirmed its commitment to providing ideal conditions for all participating teams, with a focus on sportsmanship and fair play. The committee anticipates that this tournament will not only succeed in fostering communication between student-athletes from different countries but also provide a unique and enriching experience for all participants.
