In a strategic move orchestrated by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the Bahraini youth handball team is set to receive pivotal support. This development is part of the ongoing "Making Champions" initiative, a comprehensive program designed to bolster the national teams' preparation and performance. The youth handball team will benefit from an exclusive training camp, gearing up for their participation in the inaugural Gulf Youth Games hosted by the United Arab Emirates from April 16 to May 2, 2024.

On this significant occasion, His Excellency Mr. Ali Isa Ishaqi, President of the Bahrain Handball Federation, expressed profound gratitude towards His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Highness's unwavering support for the youth handball team underscores a commitment to enhancing the sporting prowess of Bahraini teams on regional and international stages.
