His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the national football team's remarkable triumph at the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup. This victory marks Bahrain’s second title in the tournament's history.

His Highness also congratulated His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, acknowledging their pivotal support for Bahraini sports.

Commending the team's outstanding performance, His Highness noted that this victory reflects Bahraini athletes' unwavering determination and resilience. He emphasised that such achievements strengthen Bahrain’s reputation in regional and international sports arenas.

Shaikh Isa bin Ali attributed this success to the wise leadership's continuous support for sports in the Kingdom. He highlighted that this accomplishment would inspire further progress, encouraging athletes and institutions to achieve even greater achievements, thereby elevating Bahrain’s profile in global sporting forums.

His Highness also praised the Bahrain Football Association, under the leadership of Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, for its efforts in preparing the team and the dedication of the technical and administrative staff. He commended the players for their exceptional commitment, which brought this historic victory to the Bahraini people.
