National Bank of Bahrain Platinum Sponsor of the International School Games

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has confirmed its support and diamond sponsorship for the International School Games (Bahrain 2024), which will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain from 23 to 31 October under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. NBB is now officially the Platinum Sponsor of the Games.

Commenting on this partnership, His Excellency Mr Ali Ishaqi, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Games, expressed his gratitude to NBB for its unwavering support. He emphasised that this sponsorship underscores the Bank’s dedication to promoting sporting events in Bahrain and achieving their set objectives. "We deeply value the pivotal role NBB plays in supporting the International School Games, which will see the participation of over 5,600 athletes from 80 school unions representing 70 countries. This will undoubtedly contribute to the success of the event and further elevate Bahrain’s standing globally," he stated.

 

In turn, the Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Communications, Mr Hisham Abu Al-Fateh, expressed NBB’s pride in being the diamond sponsor of this prestigious tournament, which falls under the patronage of His Majesty the King. He pointed out that the tournament offers a global stage for showcasing Bahrain’s capabilities in hosting international sporting events.

Mr. Abu Al-Fateh further explained that NBB’s commitment transcends beyond providing banking services. Since its establishment over six decades ago, the Bank has actively supported initiatives that foster community development, thereby reinforcing Bahrain’s position in the spheres of sports and societal advancement.
