Hotels for the International School Sports Games Finalized, Accommodation Arranged by Country

Abdulreda Ashoori, Head of the Accommodation Committee for the International School Sports Games, set to take place this month under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, announced that the committee has intensified its efforts to meet all requirements according to the master plan of the organising committee. These efforts align with the work of the executive committee headed by Mr. Ali Isa Ishaqi to ensure full readiness ahead of the official start of the global competitions and to guarantee the organisational success Bahrain is known for in hosting various sporting events.

Ashoori explained that in coordination with the Secretariat Committee, the committee has accounted for the participating countries, the number of athletes, and the sports they will compete in. This has helped the Accommodation Committee plan for securing accommodations for all participating delegations, including athletes, technical teams, referees, officials, and the Kingdom’s guests. The committee has also gathered the arrival and departure dates of the delegations to handle all accommodation logistics.

Recently, the number of hotels dedicated to hosting participants has been increased to accommodate the expected large numbers arriving in Bahrain. This expansion ensures that the accommodation standards meet global requirements, following the executive committee's plan to provide all necessary support to the working committees. Ashoori noted that participants will be accommodated according to their respective countries, with specific hotels assigned based on the size of each delegation. Most of the selected hotels are located in the capital, which offers all essential services and is close to the competition venues.

Additionally, members of the Accommodation Committee will be assigned to the designated hotels to assist all participants, provide guidance, and overcome any challenges. The committee members will be present at the hotels throughout the event to ensure the comfort of the delegations and to reflect Bahrain’s renowned hospitality in hosting international sports events.

Ashoori mentioned that several coordination meetings have been held with committee members to ensure all needs are met and to guarantee smooth operations. Meetings with hotel officials have also been held to review preparations, book meeting rooms for the delegations, and facilitate the use of all hotel facilities.
