Bahrain Beach Volleyball Team Intensifies Preparations for the International School Sports Games

The Bahrain Beach Volleyball Team is ramping up its preparations for the International School Sports Games, which will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain this October under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain.

The national team’s technical staff, led by coach Mohammed Alshaikh, is preparing the players physically and technically in the remaining period, gearing up for this significant international competition. The players undergo daily training sessions at the beach volleyball courts behind Isa bin Rashid Sports Hall in Riffa, showing great seriousness and commitment.

The team consists of 12 male players across 6 teams and 4 female players who will represent Bahrain in two women’s teams. Official training began on the 1st of October, following the success of the internal championship organised by the federation to select the players for this competition.

In a statement, coach Mohammed Alshaikh emphasised, "We aim to compete strongly for top positions in this tournament. We have talented players who have demonstrated high potential during training. This competition will be a perfect opportunity to gain experience, and I am confident they will deliver an outstanding performance."

Through workshops and motivational sessions, preparations focus on enhancing the players' technical skills, physical fitness, and self-confidence. The Bahrain Beach Volleyball Federation provides all necessary resources to support the national team in this important event.

The federation previously organized an internal beach volleyball tournament to select the national team members and evaluate their levels of readiness. This tournament had a positive impact on the players and showcased their abilities in the sport.

As the tournament approaches, Bahrain’s beach volleyball team looks forward to achieving remarkable results and raising the national flag in international arenas. They hope this participation will be a launchpad for a new generation of beach volleyball players.
