As the International School Sports Games (Bahrain 2024) approaches, a large number of athletes from various countries are confirmed to participate, with 5,651 participants representing 80 school sports federations from 70 countries.
Brazil leads the list of participating nations with 391 athletes, making it the largest delegation from outside Bahrain, followed by Saudi Arabia with 367 athletes and Azerbaijan with 245 athletes, reflecting the global interest in this major sporting event.
India has registered 221 athletes, followed by Chinese Taipei with 208 athletes, and Romania with 206 athletes. Other participating countries include the UAE with 203 athletes, Ukraine with 195 athletes, and Mexico with 193 athletes.
This significant number of participants from various countries highlights the importance of the event, which aims to promote sportsmanship and cultural exchange among youth from around the world.
As the start of the event approaches, the organizing committees continue their preparations to ensure the success of the Games, which is considered one of the most prominent sporting events in the region.
