His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Head of the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the Paris 2024 Olympics, visited the sports village to meet with the Kingdom's Olympic athletes.

Upon arrival, His Highness was welcomed by the Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee, Mr Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Member of the Board of Directors and President of the Weightlifting Federation, Mr Ishaq Ibrahim Ishaq, President of the Bahrain Swimming Federation, Advisor Dr. Mohammed Meqbel, Mission Director Ahmed Abdul Ghaffar, Deputy Mission Director Fajr Jassim, and other members of the administrative delegation, players, and staff.

His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, expressing pride and honour in Bahrain's participation in this prestigious global sporting event. He stressed the importance of representing the Kingdom honourably and striving for excellence to raise the Bahraini flag high in various competitions.

Shaikh Isa, in his visit, highlighted the profound significance of sports within Bahrain's Vision 2030. He underscored the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to enhancing its sports profile both regionally and internationally, inspiring hope and optimism for the future of sports in Bahrain. He reassured the athletes of full support to achieve their goals and ambitions.

His Highness addressed the athletes, acknowledging their pivotal role as Bahrain's ambassadors in this global forum. He emphasized that every achievement they accomplish reflects their effort and dedication, and reaffirmed Bahrain's pride and support for them in every step towards success.

He then presented souvenir gifts to the participating athletes and concluded the visit with group photos, which encapsulated the pride and honor shared among the Bahraini delegation. Following the visit, His Highness toured the sports village to inspect the sports and housing facilities provided by the Olympic Organizing Committee.
