Seef District – Bahrain Olympic Committee:

In recognition of the passionate support from Bahraini fans and to rally behind our national football team as they prepare to compete in the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup in Kuwait from 21 December 2024 to 3 January, the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in collaboration with the Bahrain Football Association, is pleased to announce a prediction competition for fans via our Instagram account for national team matches.

On this occasion, Mr Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar, Executive Director of Operations at the Bahrain Olympic Committee, confirmed that the launch of this competition aligns with the Bahrain Olympic Committee's ongoing commitment to organising various initiatives that support the sports movement, particularly football. This aligns with the guidance and interest of His Excellency Mr Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

Abdul Ghaffar added that the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in collaboration with the Bahrain Football Association, will offer cash prizes to those who accurately predict the outcomes of our national football team’s matches. The specific details, including eligibility criteria and prize amounts, will be announced at a later date. This initiative recognises the crucial role played by fans in supporting the team and reflects the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s commitment to leveraging social media and other media platforms to bolster the team's performance in this Gulf tournament.

Abdul Ghaffar commended the efforts of the Bahrain Football Association, led by His Excellency Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, in providing optimal conditions for the team’s participation in the Gulf tournament. He emphasised that the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s role is to support and complement the efforts of the team, which represents #Bahraini_Team. The Committee wishes the team continued success and hopes they will deliver outstanding performances that reflect the high standards of Bahraini football.
