The Executive Committee for the International School Games (Bahrain 2024) held an important meeting chaired by His Excellency Mr Ali Isa Ishaqi, Chairman of the Executive Committee, with the attendance of Madin Al-Wanas, Chairman of the Technical Committee, Yousef Duaij, Director of Facilities at the General Sports Authority, and representatives from the local sports federations participating in the games.
This meeting is part of the continuous preparations to host this global sporting event, which is expected to bring together the best school sports teams worldwide. The event will not only enhance Bahrain’s standing on the international sports map but also foster cultural exchange on a global scale through sports.
During the meeting, local federations reviewed the latest updates regarding their preparations. Each federation presented detailed reports about its training plans and readiness for participation in the event. Discussions also focused on the federations' requirements regarding facilities, equipment, and technical support, reflecting the committee’s commitment to providing all necessary resources to ensure the success of the games.
Additionally, the committee discussed the event's marketing and promotional strategies to raise public awareness and encourage greater community involvement. The meeting also addressed the importance of forming partnerships with the public and private sectors to help achieve the event's objectives.
A portion of the meeting was allocated to answering inquiries from the federations. Participants emphasised the importance of further cooperation with the Executive Committee and highlighted the significance of joint coordination to ensure the smooth operation of the games' events.
