The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has prepared a number of workshops for its employees to sensitize them on ways to implement their strategic plan.
These activities also aim to and brief them on the importance of short, average and long term planning as well as providing them with the needed skills.
BOC Planning and Strategy Director Hasan Abdullatif said these workshops would inspire the employees with some new ideas to carry out these plans through a series of programmes approved in the strategic plan, based on the vision of each directorate.
Abdullatif noted that the first stage of these workshops will begin through the formation of a development committee, to be led by heads of their respective directorates.
They are Shouf Al Malood, Nariman Al Saffar, Mahmood Ashoori, Zaynabf Anwar, Fadi Humaidan, Fatma Al Saad, Abdulla Rabea, Amani Mansoor, Fatma Al Atawi, Mohammed Al Balooshi and Maryam Mardana.
They will also have to transfer what they have learned to their colleagues in the directorate.
It is noteworthy that the strategic objectives of the BOC include supporting parties which are under the supervision of the committee to develop administrative work, and to strengthen the sport role in supporting national economy, and expanding sports culture within the community.
Other objectives are activating local and international partnerships to strengthen the BOC role, support sports federations to accomplish achievements at various levels, provide education and sports training, and provide health care for the athletes.
