?Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Abdulrahman Sadeq Askar, praised the efforts exerted by the volunteers during the first Baby Olympics, organized by the committee in cooperation with the Ministries of Education last May, and noted that it resulted in a very successful event.
This came at his meeting with the volunteers at the Bahrain Olympic Committee offices in Seef, in the presence of Director of the Projects Lounes Madene, and Director of Media, Public Relations and Marketing Mohamed Lori.
Askar pointed out the importance of the Baby Olympics, which was the first of its kind in the Arab world. He described the children who took part as a very important category in the community, and expressed his thanks and appreciation to all partners, especially the kindergartens, and were key contributors to the success of this event.
He concluded his speech by noting the profits of this first-ever Baby Olympics, the most important of which is the humanitarian and social gains that embody the values and principles of the Olympic Movement.
At the end of the meeting, the Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Abdulrahman Askar, thanked the volunteers and presented them with the certificates of recognition in appreciation to their contributions.
