?The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has provided free transports for Bahrain supporters to cheer their side at the ongoing 23rd Gulf Cup football championship, being held in Kuwait.
Two buses will be available to carry the supporters, starting tomorrow (Tuesday) when Bahrain take on Yemen in their second game in the tournament. Bahrain kick-started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against former champions Iraq on Saturday.
BOC sports affairs executive director Abduljalil Asad said this initiative was made in collaboration with the Bahrain Football Association, and is part of the committee’s commitment to support the Bahrain football teams in their respective competitions.
Asad said the buses will be departing Bahrain tomorrow morning, and urged those interested in traveling to Kuwait to fill in the forms available at the Bahrain Football Association premises in Riffa.
