?The Arab Transient Ball Federation organised a training workshop for physical education teachers at Riffa Intermediate Boys School  to introduce the basics of this game and its tactics to the youngsters.
Organised in co-operation with the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the workshop included lectures presented by General Secretary of the Arab Transient Ball Federation Ibrahim Sharif, who explained the rules of the game amid significant interaction by the participants.
Sharif stressed that the main goal of this workshop is to spread the transient ball and increase its base in the Arab world, praising the great respond from the Bahrain Olympic Committee to open the way for the federation to introduce the sport to this particular age group.
Sharif said: “The Bahrain Olympic Committee has kindly allowed us to expand the sport, as we are planning to organize a national competition for schools and universities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education”.
“We hope to take the game a step forward and expand it to include national sports clubs to pave the way for the formation of a committee or an association under the umbrella of the Bahrain Olympic Committee tasked at managing the game,” said Sharif.
Sharif expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to General Secretary of the Olympic Committee Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa for backing the federation’s campaign, noting that Bahrain is at the forefront of Arab countries that have shown significant cooperation to achieve its main objectives.
