?Bahrain’s national football team fullback Abdulla Al Haza’a recently underwent a knee meniscus tear injury at the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s National Sports Medicine Centre in Isa Town.
The surgery was done by Finnish orthopedic surgeon doctor Jussi Rantanen as the defender is expected to make his return to the pitch within two months after his physical rehabilitation programme at the centre.
Al Haza’a said his case was analysed by a team of qualified doctors at the centre and had a special training programme to strengthen the ligaments surrounding the knee joint to prepare the injured meniscus for the surgery.
“I feel much better now after the surgery done two weeks ago and I am presently having a recovery programme set up by a team of specialists from the centre,” he said.
“I would like to thank the doctors at the centre for their services and support to me to help me achieve speedy recovery and a quick return to play football again,” added Al Haza’a.
It’s worth noting that the National Sports Medicine Centre is one of the leading sports injuries recovery specialised centers. It offers excellent services for athletes, administrators, coaches, referees and staff of national sports clubs and federations.
The centre also opens its door for non-athletic Bahraini and resident patients as well as insured clients at competitive fares and promises to provide high-quality services.
