?A sports management course, organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Olympic Academy, concluded recently at the centre premises in Juffair.
Thirty five sports officials – representing national sports clubs and associations from Bahrain – attended the course, which was in compliance with the Olympic Solidarity Committee programmes.
The course focused on a number of subjects, including the Olympic movement, the Olympic principles and values, as well as sports commandership.
Nabeel Taha, director of the academy, was one of the key speakers at the course. On his part, BOC Strategic Planning director Hasan Abdullatif talked about management and strategic planning, resources and activities management.
Other speakers were Ahmed Hafiz, Zaynab Anwar, Mohammed Al Mudaweb, Mahmood Al Shaikh, Mahmood Ashoori, Hamid Ali, Khalid Al Shaikh and Maryam Mardana.
At the end of the course, Taha presented certificates of participation to all attendees. He thanked them for actively interacting with the sessions of this eagerly-anticipated course, which aims to provide knowledge and experience related to Olympic movement to sport administrators.
