Sports federations meeting a success

?The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) had a fruitful meeting with the national sports federations in an attempt to maintain communication between the two parties. 
The meeting, which took place at the National Stadium’s Conference hall in Riffa, was attended by representatives of 23 out of the 27 existing national sports federations.
BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar addressed the federations in open discussions on different aspects of sports movement in Bahrain. Discussions were mostly related to the financial affairs and ways to overcome certain obstacles to implement their strategies and plans.
Hani Dasan of Talal Abu Ghazala auditing organization made a presentation on all that is related to the financial regulations of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and stressed that all federations should show keenness to complete the adjustments of the tournaments and camps in accordance with the regulations.
On his part, Sports Affairs acting director Abduljlil Asad made a brief presentation on his directorate services and the daily services volume over the past 11 months, totaling 5,953 with 549 monthly and 25 daily transactions.
Asad urged the federations to submit their requests at an early stage to ensure they are delivered back on time.
Some of the other subjects were the athletes insurance and the consolidated list of training and coaches affairs, in addition to the project budget allocation standards for 2016.
The meeting also brought other issues such as a financial and administrative perception reports for 2015, to be submitted during March and April, 2016.
Meetings for the elected sports federations are likely to be proposed to take place between September and October 2016.
