?Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant secretary general and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) secretary general Abdulrahman Askar noted the efforts of international Bahraini football referee Nawaf Shukralla in all past competitions.
This was announced at their meeting held at the committee premises in Seef, where Shukralla presented to Askar a special shield from the World governing football body FIFA after officiating in a number of matches at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.
In return, Askar presented a commemorative shield to the Bahraini referee in appreciation to his outstanding performance in the past years, during which he managed international football matches at the highest level, including two editions of the FIFA World Cup held in Brazil and Russia.
