?Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) acting general secretary Abdulrahman Askar received at his office in Seef Bahrain Football Association vice-president for technical affairs Ali Al Buainain and discussed preparations for the final match of the King’s Cup football tournament, set to take place on Friday (March 28).
Al Buainain briefed Askar on the latest arrangements undertaken by the association ahead of the final match of this prestigious annual football championship.
On his part, Askar urged the football association officials for a concerted efforts of everyone and harness all abilities in order to make this occasion a very successful one.
Both parties also discussed other issues related to the association, the most important of which is the national team overseas participations – including the Asian Cup finals to be held in Sydney in 2015 – which requires special preparations.
They also had talks on other age groups teams’ training programmes ahead of their respective competitions, as Askar affirmed the BOC willingness to support the association in accordance to their available abilities.
Al Buainain extended his appreciation to the BOC, headed by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for its continued support to the association programmes. He expressed the association’s keenness to provide all that would help the teams prepare in order to achieve their aspirations.
The BFA vice-president also asserted the association’s concern for domestic competitions, the most significant of which is the King’s Cup, which features great interest from all the teams in Bahrain.
