Performance lab open for football players

?The Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Athletic Performance Lab started providing a set of medical services for all Bahrain national team athletes.
BOC Projects director Lounes Madene said is being run by sports performance laboratory specialist Dr Vladimir Suarez of Cuba, the lab works on VO2 Max, a measure of the maximum volume of oxygen that an athlete can use.
Madene said the laboratory is open to all sports federations and is available to serve the national teams as a first stage. The laboratory will be soon open to the public in the second stage after completing a few the required procedures.
The physical performance laboratory measures the vital abilities of the players and gives accurate information to the functional organs related to fitness, cardiovascular and respiratory abilities, which include lungs, heart, circulatory system and muscle cells.
