Orthopedic surgeon visit begins

?Specialized orthopedic surgeon Dr. Klemen Strazar arrived in Bahrain to start his first visit to Bahrain.
The Slovenian surgeon’s three-day visit, which started on Saturday, follows an agreement with the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) National Sports Medicine Centre to offer his expertise in the field of sports injuries and surgeries.
His visit is important step to provide treatment of many injured athletic and non-athletic patients at the centre during this visit.
Dr Straza’s first surgery – expected to take place during this visit – is for former national handball team captain Saeed Johar, who is suffering from a Cruciate ligament injury.
Dr Strazar has joined a highly-qualified team of surgeons to conduct regular visits to its dedicated National Sports Medicine Centre, including famous Finnish surgeon Jussi Rantanen, who performed a number of medical check-ups and surgeries for athletic and non-athletic patients alike.
His signing is yet another success for the National Sports Medicine Centre in its bid to develop its services to the public as he enjoys vast experience in the fields of knee joints, shoulder and pelvis.
