?Finnish orthopedic surgeon Dr Jussi Rantanen yesterday (Tuesday) will be visiting Bahrain next month to undergo a number of orthopedic surgeries.
This will be the third visit for Rantanen to the kingdom this year, having been to Bahrain in June and most recently in August when he conducted his first surgery at the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) National Sports Medicine Centre in Isa Town.
These visits are part of the National Sports Medicine Centre plan to offer the best quality medical treatment services for both athletes and ordinary people.
According to National Sports Medicine Centre director Dr Khalid Al Shaikh, Rantanen’s most recent visit was fruitful after helping several patients recover after going through different surgeries.
Dr. Al Shaikh added that the Centre has completed all arrangements for this visit, by allowing patients to book for appointments with the doctor at the centre premises at Khalifa Sports City.
It’s worth noting that Rantanen has been an orthopedic surgeon since 1998 and is a founder of a hospital in Finland six years ago and is still chairman of the board.
