The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Sports Training and Development Section is organizing three courses for men and women physical education teachers over the coming week.
Courses in physiotherapy, swimming and badminton will take place as part of an apprenticeship program, organised in co-operation with the Education Ministry, with 81 men and women teachers in total taking part in their respective sporting discipline course.
The physiotherapy course is due to be held at the National Sports Medicine Centre, where sessions will be presented by physiotherapy specialist Hassan Faraj, and 31 teachers are in the fray.
In the swimming course, set to be held at Khalifa Sports City pool in Isa Town, will see 25 teachers taking part. Khalid Ahmed was named as course instructor.
The Bahrain Table Tennis Association gym in Riffa will host the badminton course sessions, which also features 25 participants, and will be given by Bahrain national team skipper Sayed Jaffer Ebrahim.
Supervising the organization of all three courses is a team of experienced administrators, namely Saeed Al Aradi, Waleed Shuwaiter and Hussain Ali of the Sports Training and Development Section.
