More than 700 graduates receive awards

?Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar deputized for Supreme Council for Youth and Sports general secretary and BOC vice-president Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa to attend the graduation ceremony for 775 participants.
Graduates included 375 who took part in the National Coaching Programme and the Sports Management Programme, in addition to 400 physical education teachers to attended courses organized by the Education Ministry and the BOC.
The ceremony was held at the Regency Hotel’s Riffa Ballroom, and was attended by the Canadian Consulate as well as BOC board member Dr Khalid Al Alawi and Abdulhakim Al Shino, Public Security Sports Federation general security Khalid Al Khayyat, and sponsors and the Sports Training and Development Section representatives.
In his speech, World Sports Academy representative Chris Solly said he was pleased for the fruitful cooperation and partnership between the BOC and the academy, which has contributed to the graduation of several sports administrators who attended various important sporting activities and became high-ranking officials.
Late on, Askar was on hand to present certificates to the graduates, and also honoured representatives of the sponsoring companies McDonalds, Batleco, Chevron Bahrain, the Arabian Gulf Raffle, the Canadian Consulate and the instructors.
