Bahrain Olympic Committee tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 7) will present its strategy for 2015 to the national sports associations at a joint meeting.
The meeting will take place at the National Stadium’s conference hall in Riffa and is set to commence at 6pm.
It will be attended by BOC directors and their sports advisor Abduljalil Assad as well as representatives of the sports associations.
Both parties will also be discussing the conditions and criteria of the newly-initiated ‘Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Best Sports Association award’ for 2014. The winning association of the first edition award will be announced later this year.
BOC strategic planning director Hasan Abdullatif will be presenting the committee’s strategy for the 2014-2018 term, while sports affairs executive director Jehad Khalfan will talk about the objectives and criteria of the award.
The award organising committee is headed by Bahrain Olympic Committee general Secretary Abdulrahman Askar, while the final day to receive the associations’ candidates requests is January 31.
