?A course in sports management, organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Sports Training and Development Centre, came to a close on Thursday at the centre premises in Juffair.
It was attended by 24 administrators representing 11 sports federation, namely handball, volleyball, table tennis, gymnastics, football, mind sports, sports for disabilities, basketball, weightlifting, swimming and sports for all.
The six-day course was run by director of the Sports Training and Development Centre Nabeel Taha, who spoke on a number of subjects, including Olympic movement, international federations, Olympic Games, Olympic principles and values.
Mahmood Al Shaikh, Ahmed Hafed, Mohammed Lori, Hasan Abdullatif, Nawaf Abdulrahman and Rami Al Murbati, were other spokesman who brought other subjects on the course agenda.
The course was supervised by Saeed Al Aradi, the Sports Training and Development Specialist and veteran coach.
