?Young footballers of Al Malkiya and Al Hamala villages playgrounds were given a morale boost as they collected football gifts from the supervising committee of the Al Firjan Playgrounds, aimed to promote sport from a very young age and discover promising football talents.
A team from the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), comprising Saeed Al Aradi, Hamad Mohammed, Hasan Ali, Mohammed Al Rumaili, in addition to guest of honor and former national team star Sayed Hasan Isa, visited both playgrounds and met with young football hopefuls while encouraging them to continue play football.
The team also performed a short practice session for the kids, which was conducted by Saeed Al Aradi and Hamad Mohammed. Late on, 12 youngsters from Al Hamala and 44 near Al Malkiya coast playgrounds received footballs as incentive gifts donated by BOC.
This gesture was well admired by the kids and their youngsters who thanked BOC and the team for their efforts to activate the project, and expressed their motivation to continue playing football and hoped to represent one of the national clubs and the national team in the future.
On his part, Isa expressed sincere appreciation to the BOC for this remarkable gesture aimed at reviving football playgrounds in all cities and villages of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He pointed out that this initiative will develop the game in the neighborhoods and will contribute to attracting the largest number of children, which opens the way to discover the largest possible number of talents to be picked up by the clubs, and hopefully the national teams.
