?The National Coaching Programme’s Level 1 course is set to commence today (Jan. 5) at the Sports Training and Development Section conference hall in Juffair.
The section, which is under the Bahrain Olympic Committee umbrella, is organising this course which continues throughtout this week.
This level course, which is part of the section’s annual plan for 2014, focuses on the training science, planning and development stages and the coaches duties in regards to safety and first aid procedures, in addition to movement analysis, and principles of training and fitness.
Sessions will be conducted by a group of certified instructors from the Coaching Association of Canada, as 40 coaches from various federations and sports clubs in the Kingdom are expected to take part.
In this context, head of the section and international instructor Nabil Taha Al Shehab expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to General Manager of Fakhro Restaurants Ahmed Mohammed Jasser and Director of Quality Assurance and procurement Ali Ahmed Hassan for their continued support to their programmes and activities.
