?Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) secretary general Mohammed Al Nusuf has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on the outstanding success of the 2019 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Al Nusuf expressed deep pride in the key role played by HRH the Crown Prince to ensure the success of the race regarding the organisational, administrative and sports aspects, as well as the high spectator turnout, noting that HRH Crown Prince followed up closely on all preparations and got assured about the equipment which were operated by distinguished Bahraini competencies.
He stressed that the success of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), the home of motor sport in the Middle East, in organising the 2019 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and the high spectator turnout throughout the race days affirms the increasing international confidence in the kingdom’s standing on the world sports and tourism maps, in addition to its deep-rooted status as an oasis of peace, security and tolerance among all the citizens, residents and visitors from all races, cultures and civilisations.
He also asserted that Bahrain’s distinction in hosting mega international events is the outcome of the concerted efforts exerted by Bahraini competencies who, he said, had worked as a team to ensure the success of the international sports gathering.
