?The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) will be organizing two modules for the Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Management later this year.
The first module will first take place from April 6 to 17, to be followed by the second module from June 15 to 26, at the end of which the participants will undergo the final exam.
Presented in cooperation with the World Academy of Sport (WAoS), the Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Management is designed to equip students with the tools and skills to excel in this burgeoning industry sector.
WAoS understands and actively works across numerous aspects of the sport sector and in many counties and cultures to provide students with the most relevant and up to date issues and topics that are occurring throughout the industry.
Students make several benefits from successful completion of the programme, such as gaining new insights into what they can achieve as inspiration sport leaders. They can also acquire an enhanced ability to build high quality relationship with key internal and external stake holders.
They also intercat with world-class faculty and gain from their knowledge and idea, as well as being a flexible residential workshop based programme schedule that fits with the demands of work.
Topics covered in the programme include finance and accounting, marketing and brand building strategic planning, even management, legacy of major events, human resource management, management of high performance porgrammes, broadcast and social media, and sponsorship.
