A course in human resources management is set to begin today (Tuesday) at K Hotel in Juffair. The course is organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Olympic Solidarity.
It is part of the Sports Management Diploma Programme, certified by the IOC, and is in line with the BOC strategy aimed to qualify administrative competencies and help them acquire leadership skills in the field of sports.
This level course will focus on ways to organize the human resources structures at various sports bodies, use these resources to achieve the best results that live up to the aspirations of the leaders of these institutions.
Lecturer Fawaz Ahmed will address the human resources management within the sports institutions by developing regulations, recruitment procedures and motivation developing human resources performance, understanding the role of human resources management at sports institutions.
Other subjects are developing and implementing regulations and instructions for good management, as well as preparing, developing and implementing special strategies, identifying key principles and actions to attract, derive motivating human resources, in addition to developing effective human resource management skills.
