?The organizing committee of the 2018 Bahrain Sports, which took place last month, was honored at a reception ceremony at the Bahrain Olympic Committee premises in Seef.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sports general secretary and BOC vice-president Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa presented awards to members of the organizing committee, headed by Abdulrahman Askar, the BOC general secretary.
Shaikh Salman started his speech by thanking all the organizing committee members for their efforts in making this year’s Bahrain Sports Day a great success.
Shaikh Salman noted that the second edition of the Bahrain Sports Day was tremendously well organized compared to last year’s event, and also featured more sports activities and attracted a larger crowd.
Late on, Askar thanked Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and BOC President, and Shaikh Salman, for following up of the festivities.
