?Dr Jussi Rantanen’s medical consulting at the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s National Sports Medicine Centre started yesterday (Monday) as part of a two-day visit to Bahrain to offer his vast experience in the field of orthopedic injuries.
The Finnish orthopedic surgeon had a busy day yesterday, during which he had inspected 15 patients as well as a surgery.
This is the third visit for Rantanen to Bahrain this year, having been at the centre June and August, during which he underwent a number of orthopedic surgeries and inspections for athletic and non-athletics patients.
It’s worth noting that the number of patients booking for appointments with Dr Rantanen – to benefit from his expertise – has reached beyond expectations.
However, these appointments at the centre premises at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town are limited on first-come-first-serve basis.
Rantanen has been an orthopedic surgeon since 1998 and is a founder of a hospital in Finland six years ago and is still chairman of the board.
This initiative is part of the National Sports Medicine Centre plan to offer the best quality medical treatment services for both athletes and ordinary people.
