Fastlink signs on as Olympic Day Diamond sponsors

?Fastlink Telecommunication has signed on as Diamond sponsors of the Olympic Day, to be organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) on June 23 at Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park in Al Hidd.
This was announced after BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar meeting with Fastlink general manager Abdulrahim Al Dalawer, in the presence of BOC board member Ali Isa Ishaqi, Sports Media Committee head Mohammed Qassim and H&H board chairwoman Maya Nassif.
During the meeting, Askar commended the generous support presented by Fastlink to Bahrain sports in general, and the committee, in specific.
He expressed pleasure for the active partnership between the BOC and the company, which will have a positive influence on the sports action in the Kingdom.
Askar added that this sponsorship will certainly contribute to make this event a great success, noting the importance of organizing the Olympic Day which is regarded as one of the major sporting activities as part of the International Olympic Committee agenda.
“We are extremely delighted to establish such partnership with Fastlink, which has recently entered the sports sponsorship in Bahrain and has become one of the supporting companies to sports movement,” said Askar.
“We really look forward to continue our communication and cooperation in the future in order to achieve our aspirations”.
He noted that the BOC has been keen to prepare a packaged programme for this special day-long function in an attempt to instill the principles of the Olympism in the Bahrain society.
On his part, Al Dalawer expressed pride for this fruitful partnership with the BOC, noting that the committee has become one of the pioneering national Olympic committees that work in accordance to a clear vision and strategy.
She stressed the company’s eagerness to support some of Bahrain’s most important sporting activities in order to promote its role in backing the sports sector.
At the end of the meeting, Al Dalawer presented a commemorative gift to Abdulrahman Askar on this occasion.
