?Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) International Relations director Fajer Jassim recently attended Chefs de Mission Seminar for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
This two-day seminar was presented by the Olympic Council of Asia and Ashgabat 2017, who produced a series of key findings and recommendations to close the seminar.
It was declared open by OCA president Shaikh Ahmed Al Fahad Al Subah of Kuwait, in the presence of representatives of National Olympic Committees from Asia and Oceania.
Fajer said she admired the high-tech facilities available at the sports village as well as the arrangement made in preparation for the upcoming games.
Games will run from September 17 to 27 with around 3,500 athletes from 62 National Olympic Committees, including 45 from Asia and 17 from Oceania expected to take part in 21 sports.
