?The executive committee of the 2019 edition of the Bahrain Sports Day, scheduled for February 12, has reviewed updated details in regards to the main sports village located at Isa Sports City in Riffa.a
During its second meeting held at the Bahrain Olympic Committee premises in Seef, executive committee’s events committee head Lounes Madene made a presentation on the sports and entertaining activities that will take place at the main sports village in the evening session from 3pm until 8pm.
Madene revealed some of the activities scheduled during the day, which include walking race, a running race, a fun color run and some kids activities. 
On his part, committee member Fadi Humaidan talked about the mechanism of registration for the participants at the venue of the event and the importance of adhering to the regulations in order to save time.
He pointed out that the number of volunteers has reached 75 volunteers, while this number is expected to double in the next few days.
Mahmood Ashoori of the sports village operations committee, presented several logistic needs of the activities to be staged at the venue, while media committee head Mohammed Lori announced the media coverage plan of this year’s Bahrain Sports Day, which started two weeks ago.
E-Content head Wafa Qanati noted that workshops to be organized by the Information Technology department for clubs, youth centres, sports federations, governorates and ministries to upload the activities programmes onto the official website.
At the end of the meeting, Fatima Al Sakran, General Coordinator of the event, presented a comprehensive overview of the activities with a number of proposals to promote for the event. She expressed her thanks to the companies, institutions and other parties that have expressed their willingness to contribute to the success of the sports day.
