?Supreme Council for Youth and Sports board member, Bahrain Olympic Committee member and Bahrain Table Tennis Association president Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa said the programme “Estijabah” (Response), a programme designed to produce a new vigour in the sports sector of Bahrain, reflects the modern vision of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Nasser, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has launched the programme recently following a decree for the year 2018 to form a Committee for coordination, implementation and follow-up, that is specialised in preparing periodic reports and recommendations to develop and to find required solutions to achieve the Council’s ambitions. 
It aims to create a new march for Bahraini sports as it coincides with the vision of the wise leadership for developing Kingdom’s sports sector and exploiting its great resources to advance the youth of Bahrain.
Shaikha Hayat said the programme represents an initiative to implement a key part of Bahrain’s Reform Programme, which is spearheaded by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the vision of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
She extended her appreciation for the efforts of Shaikh Nasser, who confirmed that the launch of’ Response’ also aims to organise and better manage the government budgets.
Shaikha Hayat added that the contributions of Shaikh Nasser paid off recently by signing agreements with Winners Football Center and First Point USA in an attempt to assist 15 – 21 year old Bahrain’s sportsmen and women with their placement at American colleges and universities.
