?International Olympic Committee (IOC) vice-president Nawal El Moutawakel congratulated Supreme Council for Youth and Sports member, Bahrain Olympic Committee board member and chairwoman of the women’s sports committee Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa on winning the 2015 IOC Women & Sport Award for Asia.
In a letter addressed to Shaikha Hayat, El Moutawakel expressed compliments on the Bahraini’s recent honoring, which took place at the awards ceremony at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
El Moutawakel said Shaikha Hayat’s award winning achievement was well deserved for her longstanding efforts to promote women in sport, that have resulted in strong female representation on its board, in senior management, and on its Olympic teams.
The IOC vice-president also commended Shaikha Hayat contributions at the BOC and to the sport movement in Bahrain, in general, and wished her progress.
Shaikha Hayat collected her award from IOC President Thomas Bach, in the presence of IOC Executive Committee member Prince Faisal bin Al Hussain of Jordan, President of ANOC and OCA President Shaikh Ahmed Al Subah and Nawal El Moutawakel.

    Hey, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
    When I look at your blog site in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer,
    it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
