?Recently-appointed presidents of the Bahrain Disabled and swimming federations thanked Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa on their new posts and viewed to strive to live up to their billings. 
Shaikh Mohammed bin Daij Al Khalifa, who was named new president Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation as per decision issued recently, said he was honoured for being chosen for this position, adding that Shaikh Nasser’s trust in his abilities is a great source of pride for him to take the association to higher standards.
Other officials named for the disabled sports federation were Jassim Al Sindi, Sami Zubari, Adel Al Mutawaa, Abdulrazzaq Zainuddin, Ali Haji, Ali Al Najbah, Aisha Al Amer and Mohammed Nami.
As for the Bahrain Swimming Association, its newly-named president Shaikh Mohammed bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa shared the same thoughts and said he was pleased for this appointment, which represents a new challenge for him to further improve swimming in Bahrain.
The swimming association’s new board also includes members Khalid Rabea, Senan Al Dossary, Faisal Swar, Maryam Mirza, Tareq Juma, Isa Sanad and Waleed Ajoor.
