Uncategorised‘Dartfish’ course on statistics concludes

?A new course on statistics, using computer programme ‘Dartfish’, concluded recently with 20 coaches from Bahrain and abroad taking part.
It was organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Sports Training and Development Section, located at Manama premises in Juffair.
The five-day course was part of the committee’s plan to prepare and develop the abilities of the national coaches, reinforce their efficiency, and have positive influence on the outcomes of the Bahraini sport.
Bahrain Olympic Committee Sports Affairs Executive Director Jehad Khalfan presented the certificates to the participants at the end of the course, which was conducted by dartfish expert and international instructor Mahmood Fakhro.
Khalfan said he was pleased with the number of coaches attending the course, which he described as a crucial step for any coach wishing to improve his skills at training and cope with modern technological techniques  in this area.
Meanwhile, 30 coaches from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, representing different sporting disciplines, attended the opening session of Level Two National Coaching Course programmes.
This two-week course is being conducted by a team of experienced instructors like comprising Ahmed Hafed, Mahmood Yateem, Ali Al Anzoor and Mohsin Ali Abdulla.
It focuses on sports planning, development and growth, coach role, strength and physical preparation, safety in sport and mental preparation.
The National Coaching Programme is presented bin cooperation with the Coaching Association of Canada for 18 years now. The Bahrain Olympic Committee extended its partnership with CAC deliver the more improved National Coaching Certification Programme (NCCP).
