?Bahrain Olympic Committee Sports Affairs Executive Director Jihad Khalfan stressed the importance of the technical programmes offered by the Sports Training and Development Section to develop the abilities of the national coach and enhancing his efficiency, and have positive influence on the outcomes of the Bahraini sport.This came on the concluding day of a course on individual sports using computer software ‘Dartfish’, organised by Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Sports Training and Development Section.Twenty four coaches and officials from different sports clubs and federations took part in this course, which took place at the section’s premises located at Manama Club in Juffair.The course was part of the section’s annual plan and aims to develop national coaches in a variety of sports. It was conducted by international instructor Mahmood Fakhro, who is authorized by the Swiss Dartfish Company to run this event, and was assisted by Abdulreda Al Mosawi.The course focused on explaining the content of the latest version of the ‘Dartfish’ programme, which is about monitoring, analyzing and training in individual games.Khalfan praised the major efforts of instructor Fakhro, who is regarded one of the specialist personnel in this type of programme in the Middle East, and has vast experience and abilities in this area.On his part, Fakhro expressed thanks and appreciation to the Bahrain Olympic Committee for adopting this training programme, which has become one of the most reliable applications for many sports clubs and federations from all around the world.Fakhro added that the company which has produced this programme decided to provide with a free three-month subscription period for the participants, whom he urged to use this opportunity and develop their knowledge in the area of sports analysis.
