A level 4 National Coaching Programme Course, organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Bahrain Olympic Academy, came to a close with 27 coaches of different sports from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in the fray.
Executive Director of Sports Affairs Abdul Jalil Asad honored the students at the closing ceremony and handed them the certificates of participation in the presence of Director of Media, Public Relations and Marketing Mohammed Lori and Director of the Olympic Academy Nabil Taha.
Asad stressed the importance of the course in developing the abilities of elite coaches and improving their standards, leading them to achieve the highest standards of excellence in training, which is the founding stone of sports development, discovering new talents and improving sports outputs.
He noted that the course is in line with the keenness of the academy to apply its annual plan, which includes a series of courses, symposiums and workshops that target the development of national competencies, such as level 4 coaches.
Asad also expressed pleasure for the good number of participants, which reflects their eagerness to develop their skills and capabilities, which would have a significant influence on their work at their respective clubs and national teams.
Meanwhile, a post-graduate management course got underway at K Hotel in Juffair. This event is being conducted by instructor Hisham Al Shehabi and is organized in cooperation with the Olympic Solidarity Committee of the International Olympic Committee.
It features 16 participants of sports federations and the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports General Secretariat, and the Bahrain Olympic Committee.?
