BOC to meet sports associations officials

?The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) today (Tuesday, October 21) will have a meeting with representatives of all national sports associations.
The meeting, scheduled to take place at 6.30pm at the National Stadium’s Conference Hall in RIffa, will focus on updates on the main statute as well as the consolidated financial bylaw of the sports associations, and the national teams overseas participations bylaw.
BOC Sports Affairs executive director  Jehad Khalfan said the committee has already sent all bylaws to the national sports associations in advance for review purpose.
He noted that the meeting is an opportunity to discuss these three bylaws after the sports associations were moved to become under the umbrella of the BOC.
“The Bahrain Olympic Committee is keen to inform the sports federations on updates made to the regulations, as we exchange ideas aimed to improve the administrative work within the national associations, leading to a better application of the laws and regulations which would have positive outcome on sports in the Kingdom. 
Khalfan added that the Olympic Committee has made great strides towards the preparation of such regulations, which will be a quantum leap, for being the major reference for all national sports associations. 
He hoped that today’s meeting would bring some fruitful results that would contribute to strengthening and developing the work at the national sports associations.
