?The Bahrain Olympic Committee honoured its staff on Tuesday at the annual awards ceremony held at the Alumni Club in Adliya.

In his opening remarks, BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar welcomed the attendees and thanked the employees for their hard working efforts in implementing the committee plans and programmes last year.

“You are the core of this institution, without you it would have been impossible for us to achieve our objectives and for Bahrain to win over 300 medals in 2014 as well as 150 medals so far in 2015,” added Askar.
He also conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
