?Bahrain Olympic Committee’s Executive Coordinator of Human Resources Directorate Hood Al Mannai arrived in Rabat, in Morocco, to take part in a Sports Management Course, to be held from September 21 to 27.The course is being organized by the Technical Secretariat of the Arab Youth and Sports Ministers’ Council in coordination and the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees in collaboration with the Moroccan Youth and Sports Ministry and the Moroccan Olympic Committee.The BOC has named Al Mannai as its representative due to its keenness to develop working cadres and help them gain knowledge and experiences, which would boost its efficiency in serving the sports movement in the Kingdom.The course aims to qualify and develop executive cadres in the field of sports, and give participants the strategic planning skills by giving them intensive lectures which discuss a variety of topics such as management and organization of sports competitions, psychological preparation of athletes, the development and formulation of objectives, technology in the field of sports, monitoring and evaluation, legislation sports, sports facilities management, sports marketing and investment, tests and athletic standards.Furthermore, the event consist of a series of workshops that focus on certain topics like hooliganism, steroids, professional sports , sports innovation, sustainable development. It also includes cultural seminars and a variety of sports activities and tours.
