?Representatives of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), headed by sports affairs executive director Abduljalil Asad, continued their field visits to different work locations of the under-19 World Volleyball Championship, being held in Bahrain until August 27.
The initiative is as per directives of BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar. Joined by media and public relations director Mohammed Lori, Asad visited the Hani Royal Hotel, where they met representatives of International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) committee, headed by Ramon Suzara.
The visiting pair were briefed on the FIVB panel progress of work and their requirement in the next stages of the tournament.
Suzara thanked the BOC and the Bahrain Volleyball Association for facilitating the committee’s work during this event and providing all that would ensure a smooth flow of work.
Meanwhile, BOC sports affairs specialists Fai Buallai, Aqeel Ali, Saleha Al Rumaihi and Mahmood Ashoori all made field visits to the standing committees’ premises, where they made sure the work progress was going as planned.
