?The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) today (MAY 18) will launch its strategy for the next electoral cycle 2013/2017 and reveal its all-new brand during a gala ceremony at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation Gym at Isa Town Sports City.
A packed program has been set up for today’s ceremony, set to commence art 6.30pm and is patronized by Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman and BOC President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The launching ceremony featured a documentary film about the history of the committee and a word by Shaikh Nasser, to be followed by the official announcement of the new brand mark and logo.
The committee strategy is based on the Olympic Charter, which is the constitution of the Olympic movement supported by the International Olympic Committee, the Bahrain Economic Vision based on a methodology capable of turning the aspirations of the BOC into reality to achieve the aspirations of the leadership and the community.
The BOC overall vision is to empower representatives of the Olympic sports movement to achieve sustainable excellence. The mission is to support, protect, develop and organise sports movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the Olympic Charter by promoting partnerships with relevant authorities.
The new brand for BOC cements their position and maintains a positive perception both locally and internationally. The new Brand Mark stands strong in international competition, whilst being easily understood and recognized by the local market.
The Brand Mark was created by the professional and experienced Marketing Agency, TRIME Media, which have conducted months of research, trials and challenges, in order to reach the final image. Together with BOC Management, the final Brand Mark was agreed and accomplished.
